After a shoddy previous season, it was expected that the Kings XI Punjab team would give up on most of their players. So, there is no Yuvraj Singh or Sangakkara, both of whom had captained the side in the previous couple of seasons. However, there are at least two others who can captain the team – Adam Gilchrist and David Hussey. Gilchrist led Deccan to a title in 2009 whereas Hussey has been the vice-captain of the Victorian side for some time now. For starters Punjab may look to give their captaincy to Gilly and see how Hussey goes in the season.
